SISGrass hybrid turf pitch at the home of the Royals

MJ Abbott won the contract to reconstruct the stadium pitch at the Madjeski Stadium (now known as the Select Car Leasing Stadium).

The following scope of works was carried out:

• Removal of existing surface and partial lower sand
• Installation of new drainage slits, irrigation and undersoil heating systems
• Import and spread new gravel drainage raft, lower sand profile and upper rootzone layer
• Preparation and seeding of pitch surface, including incorporation of amendments and fertilisers
• Installation of SISGrass hybrid pitch reinforcement system.
